It's hot desert weather in Los Angles and I am working on producing journey suit which is my artist wearable object simply developed from my own needs to wear in the outdoor festivals such as desert hearts, lucidity, portal to the new earth, burning man.And friends started to ask me to make it for them. It keeps you warm, makes you look festive and takes you on a journey. It is completely reversible with fleece lining and the shell is waxed cotton chinoiserie wizard Toile print which is the same fabric for the costumes of my piece called PRIZM from *DoYou: Migration of The Monarchs* show. This particular piece has a zipper going all the way to the back to the sacrum so you can go to the bathroom easily in the outdoor festival situations. It has pockets and long straps to make it either fitted or baggy like baby's onesie. I am fascinated by new born babies onesie and I wanted to make it for adults with various prints/ psychedelic prints. *celebration of inner child in everyone* it is hand made piece by piece whenever i want to spend some time sewing as mediation and I usually do a prayer for the person who will be receiving while I am making it for them to have a best journey to themselves. This is the medium that I connect with my audience in different way. I am in the process of creating few different versions of print and some collectible limited editions versions.
